The Anacortes Chamber of Commerce serves two distinct audiences, our community members and guests of our seacoast island. We strive to provide up-to-the-moment information and communication is key to these endeavors. For the past five years, Karla Locke of Alternative Inbound Marketing is the strategic partner to our four member staff we rely on.
Weekly she prepares and sends an Events and Happenings update that reaches the over 700 contacts in our membership – sharing what is happening and how they can get involved. We are impressed that this weekly communication medium averages over 33% open rate.
Every six weeks, Karla works with contracted writers to tell the Anacortes story to past guests, encouraging repeat visitors. The Anacortes Scene is sent to over 3200 contacts, again with an average open rate of over 33%.
